Today is the first day of Spring and also opening day for the Currituck Beach Light Station. To celebrate their opening day the Currituck Beach Light Station offered free climbs from 9-5pm so we decided to get some exercise – all 220 steps. Beautiful weather allowed for some nice pictures and comfortable climbing of this historic lighthouse. If you haven’t visited the lighthouse, Heritage Park, Whalehead Club and historic Corolla Village it’s definitely a nice way to spend the afternoon. Welcome Spring!
