On Saturday, we joined Steamers to celebrate their second year in Southern Shores. It was a nice afternoon to bring together lots of locals with delicious appetizers and cocktails. We arrived promptly at 1pm to secure our favorite seats and were warmly greeted by Steamers co-founder Linda Coats. Linda was ready with balloons and an appetizer station, which allowed everyone an opportunity to share some kind words with Linda. We, along with so many others, were so happy to celebrate such a lovely restaurant, and support a local business who cares so much about their customers satisfaction. The apps served were a delicious assortment from Steamers menu with lobster & shrimp bruschetta, crostini with country ham, goat cheese, thyme and honey, shrimp po’ boy and clam strip po’ boy both served with a zesty remoulade, tuna poke with mango, triggerfish tacos, chocolate mousse and cheesecake. As you would expect, it was all delicious and made for a nice afternoon. Congratulations to Steamers and thank you to Linda and Chris for allowing us to celebrate with you.
