If you call yourself a “foodie”, are looking for somewhere different tonight, or simply want to enjoy a fantastic meal, you’re in luck! Matt Myatt and Team have compiled a list of our top 10 favorite restaurants in the OBX. We hope you love these unique and delicious places as much as we do!
The Blue Point (Duck, NC)
One of our favorite spots for an evening out or an amazing brunch. Excellent craft cocktails, extensive wine selection, awesome service, stellar sunsets, and outstanding food. You won’t be disappointed. Reservations are highly recommended.
Noosa Beach Grille (Kill Devil Hills, NC)
We love this recently opened spot. They are super casual and open for lunch and dinner, offering a diverse menu of sandwiches, local seafood, and craft cocktails. Their hours and relaxed atmosphere make for an easy pop-in for a quick bite.
JK’s Restaurant (Kill Devil Hills, NC)
A well-loved local spot with the best selection of steak and a carefully curated wine list. They offer weekly specials from quail to seafood bisque to eggrolls made with pork and collards. Great service that creates an ease of dining and relaxation.
NC Coast Grill & Bar (Duck, NC)
This somewhat new spot opened on the waterfront in Duck. As a plus, they offer outdoor seating that is a favorite on beautiful summer days. The menu is limited but very interesting and delicious. Also, another amazing spot for sunset cocktails and appetizers.
Steamer’s Restaurant (Southern Shores, NC)
A neighborhood favorite for us. Seasonal menu changes offer timely and tasty treats for dinner. Great service and always friendly faces make for a warm and neighborly experience.
Cosmo’s Pizza Corolla (Corolla, NC)
Everyone’s favorite Outer Banks pizza shop. We love the cooked to perfection New York-style pizza. Their pizza and garlic knots will surely make your family happy just like ours. The Corolla Classic pizza is 100% mouthwatering!
Trio Restaurant & Market (Kitty Hawk, NC)
The local’s favorite hot spot to drop in for a drink, nosh on snacks, buy cheese, wine, beer, or champagne. A cheese-pleaser is their weekly burrata special and bargain bag of mystery cheese to spice up any charcuterie board.
Kill Devil Grill (Kill Devil Hills, NC)
A super busy “diner” with blue plate specials and amazing food. Every salad is deliciously served in a chilled bowl, soups in a mug, drink refills magically appear, and every menu item is awesome. We highly recommend 2 things – cheesesteak eggrolls and key lime pie.
Art’s Place (Kitty Hawk, NC)
What can we say about a burger from Art’s? They are the absolute best on the beach and the hand-cut fries – get out the malt vinegar, YUMMY! Art’s is a place of character and for characters, so you will want to check this one out.
Metropolis (Corolla, NC)
One of our favorites! Their tapas-style menu is absolutely fantastic and you definitely won’t want to miss out on all the awesome craft cocktails and martinis. Get all crazy and order tapas until you pop, it will totally be worth it. Reservations are recommended.
